Beppe Gambetta is a remarkable musician and singer who has
almost single-handedly popularized flatpicking throughout Europe, while
forging his own unique approach to the guitar on the way. 
Born in Genoa, Italy, Beppe trained classically on guitar before
drawing on traditional European and American techniques to expand his
horizons. In 1977, he formed his first bluegrass band, and has toured
nationally, teaching and promoting flatpicking and other intricate guitar
styles.
