Since 1991 Reverb's sweet sound has resonated in churches and festivals
along the East Coast, throughout performance halls in East and Southern
Africa, at diplomatic soirees in the Caribbean and at military bases in the
Persian Gulf.
Steeped in church-based harmonies, their repertoire is sacred and
contemporary, original and traditional. Featuring tenors Russell Jeter
III and Steve Langley, tenor-baritones Christopher
Hunter and Donovan Briscoe, and bass Victor
Pinkney, Reverb brings a beauty of tone and intensity of performance
to their distinctive mix of African, blues and ballads. It is no surprise that
Reverb won the Washington Area Music Association Award as the best
gospel- inspirational harmony group.
