The 40th Nicol-Brown Amateur Invitational Contest will be held at St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Rockville, Maryland, co-sponsored for the first time with the Institute of Musical Traditions. The weekend will begin with a judges’ recital on Friday evening, October 6, a rare opportunity to listen to performances from three of the world’s premier pipers and authorities on pipe music.
ON Saturday, October 7th: Ten of the finest Amateur pipers from across North America will earn invitations this season to play in an elite solo competition consisting of three events: 6/8 Marches, Piobaireachd and MSR. The contest is dedicated annually to the memory of Robert U. Brown and Robert B. Nicol, the Masters of Piobaireachd.

The Maryland Premiere of ALL WIGGED OUT will be on Thursday, April 27 at the Silver Spring Civic Center at 7pm. Tickets are $25. Event sponsors pay $500. Goal is to raise $10K for Hope Connections for Cancer, whose motto is “No one should go through cancer alone.”
Tickets are $25 and you're welcome to submit additional donations.
